"Aliments du Québec" is a non-profit organization whose goal is to promote the agri-food industry through the "Aliments du Québec" and "Aliments préparés au Québec" brands.
Products containing at least 85% ingredients of Quebec origin and processed and packaged in Quebec can be certified "Aliments du Québec".
Products are certified "Aliments préparés au Québec" when they are processed and packaged in Quebec and contain both ingredients from Quebec and ingredients imported from other countries if they cannot be produced under our weather conditions.
This CCHM project aims to promote the right to healthy food for all.
At the service of the community, the agricultural farm allows local production of fruits and vegetables in complete autonomy.
It promotes the short circuit between production and distribution.
The Panier Bleu, or blue basket, is an initiative supported by the Government of Quebec whose purpose is to strengthen the Quebec economy and encourage local purchasing among Quebecers.
The mayrand.ca website and our Mayrand Food Depot stores, open to the general public, are in the Panier Bleu directory.
Local business needs Quebecers' solidarity to sustainably fulfill its missions of supply and job creation. The Panier Bleu contributes directly to this.
