Mayrand is currently looking for a passionate Talent Acquisition Business Partner who is committed to their work and is looking to contribute to the company’s success. We are currently transforming our talent acquisition business model. To that end, reporting to the Human Resources Director, the incumbent will play a key role in supporting the team by implementing strategies and procedures necessary to attract and select top talent. The ideal candidate will help strengthen the employer brand by providing a one-of-a-kind experience and contributing to the visibility plan.

Your tasks will consist mainly of

  • Leverage your knowledge of the job market and expertise in talent attraction and acquisition
  • Propose innovative solutions in talent acquisition in a market experiencing labour shortages
  • Support, inform and coach managers through each step of the talent acquisition process
  • Work closely with managers to become a partner in analyzing their needs and searching for top talent
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for hiring foreign labour
  • Foster long-term relations with different partners and universities
  • Keep abreast of the latest market trends in talent acquisition
  • Contribute to improving processes and operations related to talent acquisition
  • Participate in special projects related to talent acquisition
  • Support full-cycle recruiting: provide seamless service, from identifying staffing needs to the onboarding and integration of employees
  • All other related tasks

Qualifications and skills required

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in talent acquisition or staffing
  • University degree in industrial relations or human resources management
  • Member of the Ordre des CRHA
  • Keen sense of customer service
  • Autonomous with the ability to manage priorities and take initiative
  • Ability and interest in team work
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking, sound judgment and discretion
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
