Purchasing administrative assistant

Mayrand Plus, a food distribution business for catering professionals, is currently looking for an administrative assistant purchasing, involved, who wishes to contribute to the success of the company.

Reporting to the Vice President of negotiation, merchandising and purchasing, the selected individual will perform the following duties

Your duties will primarily consist of:

  • Prepare accounts payable openings
  • Follow up and report on supplier agreements and volume discounts;
  • Follow up with suppliers
  • Ensure the management of promotions and their entry in the system
  • Verify supplier invoicing
  • Follow-up and invoice the supplier policy
  • Offer support to buyers in their daily tasks
  • Ensure the management of the product database for listing or
  • withdrawal;
  • Follow up and implement the different discount programs or purchase and sale promotions
  • Manage internal communications via the purchasing department
    All other related tasks

Qualifications and skills required:

  • Intermediate level French and English
  • Mastery of the Office Suite;
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Precision and rigor in the execution of work
  • Excellent work organization
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Training and/or experience in a related field
