Want to carry out various marketing initiatives at a Quebec company, using the most modern web technology and means of communication on the market? We have just the job for you.

You will join the marketing team as Marketing and Communications Project Manager, reporting to the Marketing and E-commerce Manager. All marketing, e-commerce and customer experience activities are overseen by Mayrand Food Service Group, for both Mayrand store activities and the Mayrand Plus distribution service for professionals. You will be in direct contact with the purchasing department, as well as our stores and warehouses, and involved in brainstorming and achievements.

The subject matter and activities you will be handling will cover the following areas:

  • Weekly and B2B flyers: coordination of flyer production, online design, and mailing setup
  • Social media activities: content, publication and influencer strategy development, performance analysis (Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter), developing the appeal of Mayrand stores and Mayrand Plus warehouses for our clients
  • Coordination of targeted communications (newsletters)
  • Management of job postings
  • Participation in the creation of marketing content on the food and restaurant industry: research and analysis of market best practices, inspiration and creation of themed digital content
  • Food industry expertise: market monitoring missions, technical specs for chefs and analysis of trends, product usage and culinary practices
  • Contribution to the product catalogue on e-commerce sites
  • Photo program: operational management of product shoots
  • Special projects: management of projects from start to finish within the team

Necessary qualifications and skills

  • University education (Bachelor's degree, certificate or equivalent) in business administration (marketing, commerce or related field)
  • Perfect writing skills in French and ability to fully express yourself in English
  • Digital skills, keen to use new technology
  • Autonomy and sense of organization
  • Reliability
  • Creativity
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or equivalent and digital communications, with SEM – SEO being assets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Interest in the food, restaurant or retail industry, an asset
  • Bilingualism
