Business Process Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement, the Business Process Analyst is responsible for identifying, collecting, documenting and mapping existing processes at the operations level, primarily for our retail businesses.
He/she also creates operational processes when necessary. He/she develops recommendations that will allow the operations to optimize their processes, improve their efficiency and the achievement of their objectives, and ensures the follow-up and implementation. He/she conducts regular reviews to consolidate best practices, identify gaps and raise awareness of management teams on identified issues.

Main responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with operations to understand existing processes;
    Document and map processes, tools and procedures for operations;
  • Create, implement and train teams on processes
  • Identify and evaluate risks and areas for improvement and make recommendations for improvements while considering the impacts and parties
  • Propose the necessary modifications to the processes according to the evolution of the methods in place and accompany the teams during the changes
  • Work in collaboration with other members of the operations teams and assist them as needed during the execution of certain audits
  • Design and ensure the maintenance of adequate process documentation


  • Education: Bachelor's degree or DEC in Operations Management, Business Administration or other relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in process analysis and mapping;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, advanced knowledge of Excel, databases, business intelligence software
  • Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively and be diplomatic
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ethics and rigor
  • Demonstrate a high degree of autonomy
  • Have a car for travel in the execution of his duties
  • Master the performance indicators and tools (dashboard) necessary for decision making
  • Experience in the food distribution field is an asset
